We take a whole-life approach to low-carbon design. On our National Archives project, operational savings from Passive House standards significantly outweighed the embodied carbon of the initial mass concrete construction.

The National Archives redevelopment at Kevin Street is a recently completed project that involved the extensive retrofit of an existing warehouse to create a state-of-the-art archive facility achieving Passive House standards, future proofed to enable future expansion.
Faced with limited site access and the challenges of integrating with an existing structure, the project leveraged innovative construction solutions to deliver a highly energy-efficient building.
